Default nail is sf tire

Picked up a nail on the way home. Do the sf tires run tubes?

Yes, they run tube, indeed. Which sucks, by the way.
I've got a flat last week. It's the second time it happened.

Well that blows! I still have yet to get a flat tire in 15,000 miles in all of the riding I have done. Even in Volcanic rock with max air in the tires I just bounced off and kept going.

Running tubeless tires with tubes on a bike like the SF won't hurt anything. Considering the price of a tube and the hassle of dealing with changing tires, I always installed a new tube in a new tire...unless...you're dealing with relatively new tires and tubes that you're just changing for a different tire.

Pulled the nail out was about 4 1/2" long. Went through both sides of the tube and bent when it hit inside of the rim. Lucky I was less than a mile from home so I just took it easy on the flat.
