Funny morning.....my girl wakes me up early this morning

Her: "Get up....I want to go snook fishing"
Me: "It's 7 ... and cold....you want to go fishing??"
Her: "It's not cold...I already put the poles, fish finder thing and gps in the boat...Come on lets go!!"
Me: wtf is going on here, she wants to go snooking NOW?? "Ok, Ok.... I'm going....I need my.."
Her: "I got your clothes all laid out, its only 50 outside...your coffee is in the truck...hurry up"
Me: Groggy "Ok..Ok"

I hook the boat up to the truck and start to head for the boat ramp, which is about a mile from my pad.

Her: "Lets use the downtown city ramp"
Me: "I hate that ramp, all those bums are there that try to help you and want money for nuthin"
Her: "Come on, it'll be fun....besides I heard the snook are biting there"
Me: "Alright"

Now at this point I'm suspect, my girl is a girls girl, she knows how to fish....but knowing where they are biting and such...no way .... but I play along suspecting a prank.

Well we arrive at the city ramp in about 15 minutes...its EMPTY..wtf..no prank here.
Dunk boat and head out.

It's a beautiful morning...warm sun, nice cool crisp air, intracoastal is glass slick with no wind and the boat just flys across water like that.

Her: "Lets go North to around 15th street"
Me: "15th street????.....uhhh OK?" wtf is this crazy chick planning

With the yammi humming along wfo at 6k rpms and me just enjoying the ride, we round a corner and I notice a pack of boats sitting in the water around where 15th Street is...I think...wtf???

Hey, I know half of those boats...they're buds of mine!!

I take the boat off plane and glide to idle speed.

Me: "Ok princess, whats going on here"
Her: "They're blowing up that high rise this morning...thought you'd like to see it!!"
Me: "Really ... when? ... I read about it ...when???"
Her: "Supposed to be right at nine...about 15 minutes.....head over to Charlie's boat....he has sumthin to put in your coffee...I'll drive"

I let her take the helm and she Idles over to Charlie and his girl.

Charlie: "They got you too....huh"
Me: "Yup ..... what ya got for my coffee??"
Charlie: "Brandy....hand over your thermos"

With a warm belly, friends, and a good women driving......I got to watch a building get blown up....being an engineer, It was a great present.
