Default My trip to Upper Michigan

Well, this is the first time I have tried to upload pictures so I hope it works.

Picture 1 is my cousin on his 2002 ktm 520. What an animal this bike is.

picture 2 and 3 are just out on the trail.

Picture 4 and 5 are on top of Marquette mountain over looking Marquette Michigan and Lake Superior

These were the only pictures I could take before my camera stoped working. I thought my pictures would have come out much bigger like when other people post them. I need to figure out what I did wrong. Oh well. I hope some people will enjoy them.

Classic power lines, they all look the same, and are never boring.

Well, the pictures don't tell the whole story. The trails in the pictures I posted don't look that hard, but they were alot harder than you might think. In the first post, picture three there are 3 ways to get up the hill. I tried the center 2 times, the right 1 time and the bike ran out of gas on both. So I just had to put my head down and take the easy way which was the left trail. You can't see in the pictures but they are very steap hills. I believe I would have made it with a 13 tooth front sprocket, but then again I don't know. My cousin and I rode 60 miles on trails like this and it took us about 5 hours. I cannot express how tired I was when we were done. These pictures show the easy parts.

Most of the power line trails we rode were in Ishpeming, not sure if you have ever been there. These particular power lines were the high voltage lines supply power to the Empire and Tilden Iron Ore Mines. These lines are only about 5 miles from where I grew up. I sure miss that place.
