Interesting...I responded to that original post with a counter point, but I didn't really think anything was wrong with xx's original commentary on his issue with BB. It didn't seem hateful or mean spirited. I disagree to some extent with his take on his interaction with Bill, but as long as the discussion is civil, he's entitled to his opinion. Now, I had to go to work shortly thereafter, and maybe the post went to heck-in-a-handbasket at some point, but the original content of xx's post seemed to be a reasonable discussion point. Oh well.

 

In your morning post most of that info wasn't there. You were rightfully complaining.
I was just speculating. TNC was the one I believe (since I can't go back and check it, now can I) that implied you were in a rush. I wasn't necessarily talking to you only, but making a general point.
Stop taking what I'm saying personally. I'm not bashing you. Just trying to offer a different perspective.
I'm not a fanboi of Bill Blue. I just want the best crap for my needs. He (reputedly) makes the best big bore kit. But illking's experience followed by yours (as you point out) has me seriously thinking of not getting the 351 and going with a larger company that will be around longer than Bill will be.

 

Hey guys, I am still trying to find out who and why anything was deleted, to be honest I'm not on here as much as I used to be. I posted the issue in the moderators section. If all he was doing was giving a fair and balanced (not to be confused with Fox News) opinion then I don't really understand what happened. On the other hand if arguments get out of hand then they will be shut down on here. Its been a couple of years since we had to really pull in the reigns and its been really nice. Let me see if any of the mods get back to me, but unless I can see the original post or posts in question its going to be hard to form a conclusion here.

Let's try and give the original poster the benefit of the doubt. I would rather start out believing that no harm was meant and then work backwards from there.

Agreed, I read about 5 posts I think that were on there and I found it very informative, not to make me not buy Bill's kit, but to expect that there may be issues on the time frame of receiving my product. No one wants to go into something thinking that its perfect when in reality there have been some flaws

If you're a US citizen, don't you have a right to exercise your first admendment privileges? As I mentioned in my OP, you detailed your grievences in a measured tone.

I recently read that BB is having issues with waiting for barrels to be returned so he can sleeve them for resale. You have to keep in mind that this is a small scale operation and as such these kits aren't an off-the-shelf item. It would be unviable for him to have to buy s/hand barrels from wreckers and keep the price as low as possible for the consumer.
