RE: My Rattlesnake Video
Hey, Again Everybody!
Been "offline", or rather off of the forum for a while... couldn't get past the darned login ritual!! [:@]
If you want to see the REAL DEAL MOJAVE GREEN RATTLER, log onto my Blog, http://RodandLinda.blogspot.com/.. at the top of the Blog, (on the upper left) there's a search box. Type in mojave green and you will be treated to the "ONLY GREEN RATTLER" that is available to view in its' truly green color.
A Google search for the species always shows the brown varieties of the "green" snake! I think that I took the only actually green snake picture in existance.... at least that the numerous computer searchesprovided.
Kinda strange that the "Green Mojave Rattler" is always shown in the brown color... Go Figure! Google information states that this snake is the most poisonusin the USA! 17 times more so than the next most poisonous!
As you will note in my Blog comments, this snake is green only at the higher elevations. This snake was seen at Jerome, AZ, (That's above Cottonwood, AZ)and the altitude is up there!

Anything that moves without the use of legs is bad in my book..I hate snakes..don't even have dangerous ones here, but I hate them just the same...anyone ever tell you let sleeping dogs lie?

RE: My Rattlesnake Video
Found an old picture of yours truly, probably over 30 years ago. My uncle got this one while cutting timber, but if my brother and I came across it we would surely have tried to catch it. We never killed snakes, just caught them and made pets out of them (God bless our poor mother). I guess it's good for us we didn't come across too many rattlers.
