Iowa you are such a clown its almost pathetic, you are a typical Harley owner that does not ride his bike but rather talks about it and worries how the chrome looks. You talk all this $hit on this forum but you only got 500 miles on your bike. I put over 200 mileson mine the first day I owned it and I'm not even a biker, I got over 4K miles on mine and I only ride in the sand, which means I probably got 8K on it because the front don't spin when it's not touching.
Dodge trucks are bigger POSs than Fords by a long shot, but they both suck, and I know because I run a testing engineering firm and I gotta keep a fleet of the suckers running. Go get your stupid MPA degree, you will be an asset to the Iowa government LMFAO.
BTW, I don't carry an extrabattery on my bike because I got a kickstarter, which you would appreciate if you actually road your bike in offroad conditions where backup is not only warranted but recommended. Dumb ****.

Big Gun Exhusts rust, fade, flakeand fall apart...... sorry guys I couldn't resist. BTW my all stainless and aluminiumMuzzy with its stupid springs looks brand new even though it's been ridden on the beach numerous times and its even been dunked in the intracoastal and ocean a couple times. But it wasn't my fault.

I just bought an evo X big gun.. and not to feed the gay flamin goin on, but as to fit and finish, proper parts being shipped and looks (Hot!!), all i can say is its been perfect so far..... as to durability.... cant say much for it in that regard as i only have a mile on it so far. I personally think tho that a cleaning and quick maintenance with mothers would prevent problems that are being voiced as to the covering peeling (small price to pay for a non neon blue head pipe ...... if their is any problems with it in that area, you'll hear from me.

I would like to know ,how muchof of an improvement are we looking at, from a stock setupto:
Slip-onvs. full header and exhaust pipe .
I've been buying after markethopups for my jetski,every 2-3 hundred I spend ....I get like 1 mph.gain.
Are these Klx250s the same way? How much differance does the full Pipe or slip-on make......I've read the Dynos and articals ....but how is the differance on the trails...?

"Difference" depends on your riding style and the trails you ride. Like I was saying before: a year ago getting an after-market pipe was a Yes/No dicision, since pipes were all pretty much the same. Now there's more choice, so if your trail riding style is WOT, you go for a full exhaust system with a larger head pipe. If you are looking for better low-end and mid-range performance, a slip-on is a better choice (I think that's the theory with a smaller head pipe, anyway.)
If you continually spend $200-$300 to get another 1 mph gain on your Jetski, then it sounds like your looking to find any improvements that can be had. On a Jetski, though (I'm guessing here ... ) it's easy to see that 1 mph difference. On the trails, however, the trail itself and your riding ability probably plays a larger part, so the performance increase may not be as noticable. (Maybe a better way to put it is that the improvement is noticable, but your riding ability limits you from fully utilizing the performance increase.)
I went for a full exhaust, but what I'm ultimately looking for is the low-end grunt. If I was looking today, I'dbuy a slip-on instead. Someday, I'll go for the 300cc cylinder upgrade, but I'm thinking I need to improve my riding skills to fully appreciate what it has to offer.

As for a trails go, I couldn't tell you. I do, however know that this bike is MUCH more responsive and fun to ride once you get the intake,jetting and exhaust opened-up.
A lot of trail guys will recommend a gearing change as the first mod. That and the standard budget mods seem to have the most bang for the buck.
