...but us guys still in America know better and most on here are just nice to you when you spout your japanese propaganda. this is how toyota and honda became the "benchmarks" in mid-size sedans- buyers listening to the likes of you. fortuneately ford has put both honda and toyota on the trailer this year in that class.

then you state that since your pipe is titanium, (which we could all care less) that you get 4 horse compared to only 2 with a cheap slip-on. please dude. your propaganda may work over there in the crowd, but us guys still in America know better and most on here are just nice to you when you spout your japanese propaganda. this is how toyota and honda became the "benchmarks" in mid-size sedans- buyers listening to the likes of you. fortuneately ford has put both honda and toyota on the trailer this year in that class.
you can say what you want about BigGun and their EvoX series pipe, but us owners know better. there has only been one dyno documentation on here about which pipe makes the most power on a stock 250, and thatwas theEvoX BigGun. it is also documented all over here about how the BG fits alot better than the other pipes. vibrated screws out the back is no big deal as this is something that needs locktited or checked periodically. ceramic coating coming off is unfortuneately unacceptable but thankfully there has only been one instance of this happening. over here we like to take our bikes off-road and sometimes we get them muddy or even beat up. with an expensive system like yours I understand why it's a concrete queen. frankly, i think your setup is a bit weird and gaudy but thankfully it's not my bike.

Do not include me in your "us guys still inAmerican know better", this American knows the only one spreading propaganda is YOU. Don't be so nieve . Anyone with eyes can see the quality in Tremors pipe.

Taking the above quoted points in reverse order:
1. Tremor38, we are by no means just being nice to you. You have added a significant amount of valuable content to this forum and I hope you will continue to do so. You conduct yourself well and you have a lot of unique knowledge that many of us here can benefit from.
2. I don't remember you ever saying that "American products suck" or whatever. I like having access to the comments from your dealer. He is the only dealer that we know about that actually drives a bike very similar to ours. I don't trust my local dealer as far as I can throw him, but I definitely value the thoughts of a guy who sells Kawasaki bikes and rides a bike almost just like mine.
I will leave the other points in Iowa's post alone. It is obvious that very little is going to change.
I will say this, though. Many have noticed that Marty is no longer with us. Several of our key posters are still with us, but not nearly as active as they had been. I fear that thisexchange along with a few other episodes in the last few days are not going to help recruit any of them back.
I don't have the answer. I don't want a Big Brother forum any more than the next guy, but something has to be done.
We all have the right to say whatever we want, but that doesn't mean that we should exercise that right every chance we get. Sure, if I want to say something that I know will **** a guy off I can do that, and to @#$@ with anyone that says otherwise. But you know what, I am not going to do that because he is probablya good guy. Just like Tremor is a good guy and Marty and NoBrakes andKawi Wawi and everyone else on here. Shoot Iowaguy, when you aren't nailing someone, you come across as a pretty nice guy too. It's naive to expect everyone to get along like best buddies, but if we don't than the people that can go somewhere else will do just that.
There is already a competing forum up. I am not going to say where because I don't want it to get attacked, but a big chunk of the guys on this forum are already there. Personally, it's a pain to monitor two forums, but there are people and content on each that I want to have access to. Every time I check that other forum though -- every single time -- I think about the fact that the only reason that it exists is because of the personal attacks that have happened here. It's not a better forum. It's not a better group of guys. It's not more user-friendly forum software. It's all just about equal to here just with fewer people that don't post as often. They hang out over there, though, because so far there is not anyone there that can't get along with the others. There is disagreement on technical points, but there is also respect for others as fellow riders and enthusiasts.
This is by no means a recruiting film to get others to go to that other board. Quite the opposite. I would rather that the other board did not exist and we could all stay here. I for one am not going to quit coming here, but I wish that the environment were different.
Well, that's a lot more than I meant to say. Mainly I just wanted Tremor38 to know that we're not just putting up with you. We value your input and hope you stay.
By 2500 pesos worth. (That's about 2 cents I think)

RE: My opinion on exhausts....
Why do the exhaust threads turn out this way?
Im new here and in the process of deciding on an exhaust for my bike, when I started reading this thread I thought it was gonna be helpful and it did start that way but now its turned to crap.
