I've had this Specialized Rock Hopper forever. It's really solid, but no suspension. So much great riding around here. Ever summer I take it up the New Hampshire. The ski mountains let you take the lift up and there's killer downhill single track, you can ride down service roads if you wanna get speed, and all of the ski slopes are open too. The ski slopes have water run-off ditches that you absolutely have to keep an eye out for. Best wipe out I ever saw was my friend who didn't see one. I swear, after he hit, he must've slid 20 feet on his chest after he went over the handle bars.Only his pride was hurt.

Pfffft!...29'er circus bikes are a joke. Real men know that 650B is the wave
LOL!...sorry EMS...you know I had to throw that out there for MTB controversy. Kinda like an oil thread, right? We sell Trek and Specialized at the shop I work at. That's a nice bike. 29'ers have gotten very popular. Only thing I have against your bike there is that there's no boinger in the rear.
Hey...see if you can spot anything odd in this pic...other than the obvious style faux pas of having a mismatched color front wheel. Where do you guys MTB in your area?

I'll try. 26 rear, 29er front.

my other rides....sold the mountain bike after falling in love with road biking....road biking naturally led me to motorcycles...north of san francisco has some of the best mountain bike trails...and, road bike routes....unfortunately motorcyclist also like the same routes as road bikes, so they don't always get along...

I paid $600 for the suspension fork on the trail bike... that's less than half retail price Haha.
