My KLX has a new friend

RE: My KLX has a new friend
Here's a pic from of the right side:
I'm really happy with the purchase. I was concerned about it's highway abilities. Saturday, I was able to put about 200 miles on her, mostly highway and it performs great. It is the most balanced bike I have ever ridden. The power is impressive for a 650 thumper. It feels torquey to me, I can roll on the throttle at almost any gear/speed combination and it goes. It has a very comfortable riding postion and seat.
My girlfriend has shown interst in learning to ride. If she's serious I'm going to lower the KLX and sign her up for a MSF class, possibly with Marty.

That is a pretty freaking cool bike. I read that previous thread you had listed about trying to figure which bike to get. The Dakar was my pick because of it's versatility. The paintjob alone would have sealed the deal for me.
