Default My engine is whining!

Yesterday I noticed my motor started to whine. The higher the rev the louder! I also noticed that my oil level went up a lot! I changed my oil about 800 miles ago and I check my oil level after every ride home from work everyday and the oil level was perfect until yesterday. What can be wrong?

Where is the noise coming from?
I think you'll need to be more specific with the symptoms for members to help.
Is the clutch working fine?

Hi you will want to check that the coolant isn’t leaking into the oil. If you have antifreeze in your oil don’t run the engine it will destroy all your bearings.

The sound is coming from cylinder head area. How do I check if I have antifreeze in my oil?

Hi first check the coolant levels and make sure that you aren’t loosing any. Oil is cheep so I would just change it. Have a good look when it is in the oil change bucket if there is coolant in the oil there will be white milk looking streaks through it.
