Default MX Pants

Damn, tore my old Thor mx pants for the last time today - I'm retiring them after 5-years of faithful service. What else is everyone riding with these days?

I ride with the Thor phase series. I usually look for some good closeouts on MXpants and jerseys at dennis kirk or rocky montain. Most the time u can get last years model mxpants for under 40 bucks, and a matching jersey for like $15 in the clearance section!

I ride with shift MX pants, not sure what kind though. I also have a pair of the thor offroad pants. the lose type ya know, with big pockets and fit over the boot ya know? love those. nice and cool, keeps me dry. I like the shifts too.

Well it's about time you got rid of those tattered pants. I think the last time you washed them was five years ago!

Thanks for the money tree, Eric. I just watered it yesterday it should bloom again soon.

Check out the Klim Dakar pants, for a real nice over the boot pant. Not terribly horrible on price either, at $139.

Last season I rode with the Thor Static pants in cool weather or mud. Liked them, but they don't offer much storeage/pockets. This season I'm using the ARC Back Country Foul Weather pants. Heard good things about them and they have cargo pockets for lots of storage. At $79.99 you can't beat the price for what you get. Check them out at www.rockymountainatvmc.com.

They should be roomy in the legs but tight on the butt!

fox access over the boot pants in black. a lot of pockets. a lot of protection. great pants. a little on the hot side though. $125. a little pricey, but great pants that should last awhile. for what it's woth, those klim pants should've been my first choice, but i didn't want to wait for the shipping when the fox pants were in stock locally. nothing but good reports on the klim pants (and reportedly not so hot).
