deej- 5000ish miles on sprockets and you just replace the chain? dunno man, that CS looked kinda wore from that one pic. I prefer to swap out it with that mileage along with the new chain. Your call of course

wow, that spark arrester was looking plugged. Nice job on cleaning up with your priorities. looks good. That is a good reference on the packing. That stuff must be made of some long lasting material.

I ended up just buying the Moose repacking kit because it was easy. The other stuff looks promising though. The only place I could find it after a half assed search was the U.K. which is the source of all superior things, but I did not want to dick about with shipping etc.
I would also like to find a source for clutch cable ends to make my own. My last one from Motion Pro lasted one season.

The cable frayed at the lever end. lame is right. I need a three inch longer cable so I think I am stuck with ordering another from them.

So I finished repacking the muffler pretty well the same as Deej did. Except he didn't show his arms covered in fibre glass and face and hands covered in soot. I did not bother cleaning anything including my hands, they usually clean up pretty well when I eat…
The bike has a much nicer thumper tone to it and I think the bike will go like a bat out of hell now.
