What is the difference in price between a Muzzy slip on can and a full exhaust.

So I can get the full muzzy exhaust for 620 CDN and I think the slip on is around 380. I am not sure how often a 300 header pipe comes up on Ebay.
Do you know if the Muzzy full pipes are titanium, or stainless? And also how much louder they are?

The muzzy header is stainless and will turn a bronze color rather quickly. As far as noise, ya the muzzy is loud....but its only a 250....the header type you pick should make no difference in noise levels.

Hey why not have someone in the states buy a Muzzy for you then ship it to ya incognito and avoid the tariffs and stuff??

Watch Ebay....I found a full muzzy for $390 US shipped.

The Canadian dollar is one to one with the US right now....or close no???

If one was planning to keep the "streetability" would you do full exhaust or just do the slipon?

I am planning on getting the jet kit soon along with doing the airbox mod with a kdx snorkel. I am gonna wait a little to get the exhaust when I have more money. I figure around $60 should get me a good little boost, but I need to have that high end for the highway as well.

Default Headers - Muzzy vs. Stock

If the headers are the same diameter (OEM vs. Stock) how then does the Muzzy header provide greater performance?

Can this claim be backed by a dyno graph?

09KLXowner (or someone) please elaborate.
Thanks

Look at the picture in the middle of the page, I believe the Diameter is bigger than the stock 250 Header. But have not had the two side by side myself yet, after I get the new header in i will let you know my thoughts.

the muzzy header is huge in diameter compared to the 300/250 oem header. the muzzy is the largest aftermarket header you can get, even larger around than the BG. but it's the can that is plugging up the bike more than the header. a slip-on is better than nothing, but I'd get the full system especially if you plan on going up to 300cc or larger.
