Im a former KLR 650 owner, im dying to get my hands on the new 09 KLX250s. Ive been asking dealers here in Canada who no luck, Im also in Alberta, what dealer did you buy through? Anyone else in Canada see these in dealers yet? Anyone have any pics of their new 09? Cant wait to be an owner,

Cheers
I obtained mine at Precision Cycle works here in Red Deer, and just as luck would have it i was out shopping for a bike and happened to not see any kx250 (BTW they are a 2 month wait)......so I figured i would get the info on the klx and viola I bought the 09 in red...I will post pics tomorrow when I pick it up

hope you can source an 09 somewhere!!!!

Everyone knows that the 06 is the best one, I mean after all it was the first one out. Actually I like them all.
seriously though, the '06 does look darn sweet. If you look at it, the green on the shrouds flows into the green on the seats and looks uniform. the '07 graphics do not allow this uniformity to take place as they are different graphics and the shroud to seat junction looks goofy to me although I'd take an '07 too. I'd take an '06 over an '07 anyday thoughsimply for that characteristic and the green shroud. If I could rewind back like a year ago I would not have sold my '06 and while I would probably be wanting the new '09 I woud try like hell to hold off and probably buy a new Ninja 250R. That's what I get for trading all the time. I've had four different bikes in my garage in the last twelve months.Hell, I love all KLX's, period.

Did your price include GST? $6068? I have been quoted much higher here in Calgary and would make the trip for that price.

Yep...base price for it 2009 KLX250T9F was $5799.00 + $289.95 GST= $6088.95 Cash Delivered price....I may be wrong but dealers seem to charge you more if you use a Credit Card to fund the purcahse...I just took out a loan to do it.... Way eaisier plus now I have more money to put in to it then pay off the loan when I am satsified...

Americans have it soo good for pricing, I was quoted $6600 plus GST (6%)here in Calgary, it sucks because with the economy doing so well, they will sell. Looks like I'll be doing a trip to Red Deer or "The Hat"

Thanks for the help guys, I'll keep ya posted with how it goes.
