ordered bike in december, RED. got bike yesterday, GREEN. anyway, rode 20 miles, changed oiil and filter, then rode another 50 miles. fun bike. biggest complaint, TOO SLOW. Any ideas yet how to juice this thing up? exhaust, jet, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Helo I am new Here (be gental) and am Picking up my 09 in red on Monday.....I have been waiting for a few weeks now but the dealer called me on friday saying it was assembled & serviced and ready to ride....
Hey Just curious how your end is going with getting the 09???? any progress.....
it seems like it takes forever.....and ever......and mine is the first onefor the dealer up here!
I am up here in Alberta, Canada in altogether the bike cost me $6088.00 CAD
Now I am like a kid at christmas just can't wait to take a few hours, or mabey the whole dayoff of work and pick it up!!

Im a former KLR 650 owner, im dying to get my hands on the new 09 KLX250s. Ive been asking dealers here in Canada who no luck, Im also in Alberta, what dealer did you buy through? Anyone else in Canada see these in dealers yet? Anyone have any pics of their new 09? Cant wait to be an owner,

Hey All
My first post,............ went to my local kawi dealer when he called me that the 2009 in green had arrived, looked at it, sat on it, then out of the corner of my eye, i see a new 2007 just being rolled out on the floor, I ask about it, he says its his last one. I ramble on over sit on it and wham......sorry all, I liked it wayyyy better, plus it looks like a bike, Im old school and that new 09 just doesnt do it for me, anyway, love it better than my old Dt yamaha, and it rides great........$5300 canadian

^^^^ Congrats on the purchase, to each their own. To be honest I do prefer the 07 dash and mount, but the 09 just seems more refined. What province do you live in? I havent had luch looking for these out West, still a bunch of 07s kicking around here to compare against though.
