I know it's only been 5 days, but I keep thinking "Ooh, maybe the 09's will be in today!" They certainly seem to be taking their time in reaching the dealers.

...Patience...Good things come to those who wait!

that first one you listed is a great buy. I bet he'd take $2900 or so for that bike. Had that ad been posted yesterday, things may have been different since it's pretty close to me. Nonetheless, I love the new bike- it's different.

Helo I am new Here (be gental) and am Picking up my 09 in red on Monday.....I have been waiting for a few weeks now but the dealer called me on friday saying it was assembled & serviced and ready to ride....

Hey Just curious how your end is going with getting the 09???? any progress.....

it seems like it takes forever.....and ever......and mine is the first onefor the dealer up here!

I am up here in Alberta, Canada in altogether the bike cost me $6088.00 CAD

Now I am like a kid at christmas just can't wait to take a few hours, or mabey the whole dayoff of work and pick it up!!

 

I actually picked mine up March 30th. I love it. The red rocks, just wait until you see it in person. It's like it's a toy for us adults, you just won't believe how neat the new bike is. I just got my 13-tooth front sprocket from denniskirk.com. Hopefully I can get it on this week. Let's see some pics of yours when that magical day arrives.

ordered bike in december, RED. got bike yesterday, GREEN. anyway, rode 20 miles, changed oiil and filter, then rode another 50 miles. fun bike. biggest complaint, TOO SLOW. Any ideas yet how to juice this thing up? exhaust, jet, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

you answered your own question. and you evidently didn't know what you were getting into with the KLX. it has little power stock, but has lot of potential. start with a 13-tooth sprocket and then an exhaust and jets.
