Moving on - Loaded KLX for sale
All,
I've struggled with this decision for 6 months now but it's clear I'm just not going to ride the KLX much in the near future. This has nothing to do with the KLX and everything to do with having bought the FJR [8D] I just don't have the offroad bug at the moment. So, before it goes on eBay, I thought I'd offer it here.
The bike has less than 1,500 miles and had never been dropped. You know the mods based on my posts but here are the basics:
IMS 3.2 gallon tank with custom install which required removal of the stock fan, modification of the front side panels, and re-routing of wires. Waterproof electric fans have been fit on a custom bracket that works fine. All original parts including tank and fan included in sale but you will not need them.
Basic mods including N1TC needle, larger main jet, smog stuff removed, airbox crank vent drilled, vent hole drilled, and larger KDX snorkle.
Full Muzzy exhaust
BRAKE! flashing LED tail/brake light array
Cycra hand guards
Renthal bars
Progrip hand grips
Pelican top box
13t front sprocket
Bike runs great, starts right up, and has decent tread on the tires. Always garaged and kept on the battery tender.
This is an older picture but bike is essentially unchanged and in the same condition today.
I've got my eye on an old airhead BMW so I'm very motivated to sell. I can help with delivery via trailer within 200 miles of Dallas.
I've changed the oil every 300 miles with Kaw synth.
Asking $3,100.
