Movin on up
Well its been awhile since I've posted here. But tonight I brought home a new 08 KLX450r. This thing hauls a** compared to the 250.I have a feeling I'm going to hurt myself. The 450 isn't street legal and near impossible to make soin PA[sm=boohoo.gif] I was riding moreoffroad anyway with the 250.
On a side note I'm keeping the KLX250. I just re sprung the forks with some Eibach springs. I also went with a 20wt fork oil too. The front is amazing now it feels like a totally different bike in the front. It handles alot better offroad. I'm going to put off on the 330 kit now.
Well heres a crappy cell phone pic of the 450

They're legal in Oz. As is WR450R, WR250R, CRF250X, CRF450X, TE250, WR250, TE450, TE610, too much choice. A little too much maintainance for a true dual sport. Service times in hours not Kms though.[:@]

Hey, the guy i bought my street bike off of, said that to turn a dirt bike into street legal, you need to go to a custom chopper shop, they have all the correct paper work to make it happen, because they build motorcycles from "scratch" They have the correct stuff to get it legal... try that. that was the first time i herd of that.
