Smile Move over Ewan and err what's his name

Took the bike out today fitted out as dirt "tourer"

Fully packed saddle, tank and fender bags.
15.8 litres of fuel.
200k's dirt and about 50 on the slab.

Went pretty well.
Did notice the weight on the tight stuff, and there was some really gnarly stuff today, but all in all, it went very well.
Bit harder to pick up after a stack though.

Confirmed range of 350k's max.

I just realised i posted an almost identical thread back last year.

Don't know what happened to that ride as today was definitely the first decent run with all the bags on.

Hahaha

Default I must say I'm quite dissappointed Neil ..

more than a few critical items missing Thought you were past the newbie stage

Where is:

Hans ... factory mechanic - engine

Johann ... factory mechanic - electrical

Dietrich ... factory mechanic - mechanical

Bob, Tom ... medical staff

Ed ... cappuccino maker

Susan, Shirley, Rebecca, Vickey ... logistics support - you do realize maps, satellite phones and GPS's can be very, very confusing.

Case of Kleenex tissues ... for those brutal unbearable days that bring you to tears.

"Support Vehicle" ... I think that's what they called that BMW SUV. Though it needed more support than the bikes. Or equivalent poorly suited vehicle. Then gut it, mod it, and make it even more unreliable .. (but hey, the Beemer was free! You can't beat free!)

I would respectfully suggest you go back and watch all episodes again, taking notes. Wouldn't want to see you get lost or ... gasp ... have to do you own trail side repair! Just a suggestion, nothing personal

ps
Where did you get that fender fuel tank, capacity, does it work? I want/need one!

Son, you've let your team down, you've let your coach down and you've let your family down.
But most of all son, you've let yourself down.

Thats a Nomad tank.

Holds 5.8 litres which gives me 130k's of dirt riding.
