KLX678, I think it is a function of the reduced friction in the motor. The Motorkote is an additive to the oil that you do once every four oil changes. I used to have to add Seafoam to my gas all the time to eliminate the hard cold starting, especially after the bike sat for even just a few days. But since the Motorkote, no longer. I've had the bike sit for weeks without starting it and it fires on the first try. Honestly, I've changed nothing else.

Motorkote works well in my 93 FLHS Harley. I use 6 oz in oil, and 1 oz in trans. I can tell the difference, especially in transmission. Old harley tour bikes are not built for speed, but motorkote gives me a noticable boost in power. Good s#%&t. Best Ive ever seen. I highly recommend it

I do believe products like this work well, what i dont believe is that they soak into metal. Think about it, there is no way it can soak into metal. I use a product called Ar9100 for diesels. This stuff really makes a noisy diesel much quieter, which tells me it is coating all the internal parts with a tough film motor oil doesn't do, extending the life of everything. I now put in in all my bikes and diesels. But it is pricey.
