RE: MotorcycleUSA.com's ride new 2009 Kawasaki KLX250S
It's amazing how far this bike has come since last September when it was first unveiled. There were many on here saying that it was not going to be as off-road capable as the previous model and that it's lower suspension travel was detrimental, etc. Heck, even I had my doubts about the bike. I think this review is proof that the bike is just as off-road capable as the previous one and maybe even more. I never saw a review of the old KLX in death valley. Quite impressive, even to me. I can vouch for the brakes on the new bike, they are quite strong. Nice to see the KLX250S, no matter what year, getting some media attention.

Yeah I'm sure less suspension makes it MORE off road capable!
Well I guess the whole off road world has it wrong and Kawasaki is on the right track....
Hey I got a review for you and it's proof. LOL

Why are you even here? All you want to do is argue with people and you add nothing.
Did the review even speak of decreased travel? Nah, just revised and improved suspension that took all the abuse that they threw at it. But oh yeah, that does nothing for off-road performance does it, bearcat? No flats and no bent rims either, but the new tires and stronger wheels don't help either off-road, right bear?
The review and video all speak for themselves. You said you a had review..............?

Considering I haven't even had my '09 off-road yet (Ohio weather sucks, and I'm waiting for my handguards), I found the review refreshing, even if was a bit long on fluff and short on details. The proof for me will be when I participate in some Adventurerider-type dual-sport rides in the coming weeks and months. Nothing beats your own personal review. At the end of the day, how the bike responds to your own personal inputswith respect to the terrain that you most frequent iswhat really matters.
Still, I'm pleased with what I'm reading and what I'm learning about the new model.

I enjoyed the vid considerably and think kawa's marketing is on the right track for sure. The KLX has been around for some time as we all know and its fantastic to see them puting energy into this model that we all love so much. I really like the look of the 09 model and has grown on me since it came out. Regardless of what yr model it is the KLX is a great all round bike that just keeps getting better.
Cheers!
