Default moto pro fork spring review

all i can say is omg, i havent even had this bike off road yet and theres a HUGE diffrance. sucks im putting the bike in the shop 2 days later . the install was cake. 5 tools, not even an hour of work. if you can put an exhuast on your bike you can do this. the bike has a lot less dive and feels better ballanced. once i get it back from the shop ill have a full review (im having the forks rebuilt so ill have a better idea of how it handles then). think i might take it out for a little tomarrow for some light offroading (dad just picked up an xr). as everyone has said and ill say again for people searching the forums for mod ideas and such, THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST MOD YOU CAN DO TO THESE BIKES, and for only about 130 bucks, why not?

Good to hear. I bought the moto pro .44kg springs off of justanotheraditk here on KF for $85 shipped. Haven't put them in yet, but as soon as I get a decent saturday to play, they are going in.

Was there a OEM spacer in the forks?

someone mentioned to replace the oem spacer w/ a same length fork spring. + run 117mm links to bring the 09 back to pre 09 suspension travel...

Why not indeed. I've been slowly assembling my go faster goodies - HMF pipe, DJ300 kit, Twin-Air filter, Kouba screw, etc - for the last six months, but I'm not going to install the first bit until I get the Moto Pro front springs. Have ridden my stock '07 long enough to know that the stock suspension is verkacht, kaput, schmoked.

Hairest part of my mc riding test was the "panic" stop. Oh yeah, the brakes on a KLX are just fine, in fact a strong point, but the nose dive was enough to give me pause and make me realize that a similar real world experience might not end as well. Gonna do the .44's before anything else, then go from there
