Good deal BFR. Thanks for helping the cause. You getting it "unlowered"?

Cheers, Jim

I belive ones are 250s specific and ones are 300r specific. Both will inter change. The ones moto pro sell for the 250s are 250s length. Racetech springs are 300r length.

Well, I wheeled the bike into his awesome shop/garage. The man gives off the aura of knowing what the hell he's talking about. I just shut my mouth and listened....something I'm better at in my 40's than I was in my 20's.

I told him to do whatever he thought was right, still waiting to get it back.

He did mention the rear spring and height issue. He was going to look and see what was needed.

Put it this way, the guy has fielded a lot of calls from KLX owners. And I mean ALL KLX owners. 250, 300, 650...whatever else they made. Plus, they give you these rad stickers when you order from them.

I plan on calling him for my KLX 650 rear shock spring needs. Replacing the shock on that bike is...annoying to say the least.

Overall I was very impressed and he will get some $ from me for sure.

However I was not to sure about the way he talked about lowering links like they were suspension kryptonite.
This might be talk of another thread but more ground clearance and suspension travel does not equal a better suspension. I would, and I'm sure everyone here would LOVE to hear what he has to say about the differences in the 07 and 09 suspensions. It's fairly easy to make your bike lower, but higher? Even with the 09 stock front forks and my fat 200lb + butt I never bottomed out. Thought I guess "not bottoming out" is a pretty meager requirement. Suspension experts strive for smoothness and perfection in travel length I would suppose.

MotoPro...post up...!!!

oh and for the record i never did bother to take out their .44 springs in the front. hehe..
