i paid $178 for .48 springs they look identical to stock absolutely no difference! Still dives the same.

Did you revalve the fork?
Springs alone have a hard time with the loading/unloading forces of braking.

If they look the same, same length, same coil count, same wire diameter. He accidently sold you the wrong springs. what year bike?

Nope, springs don't stop dive, shock stack does.
Springs set the ride height.
Now they do help a little, if you go really stiff.

Agree with Tacoma. Big improvement in the amount of dive, and quite noticeable when on the trail going through the big bumps and whoops.
