Default More singletrack pics... stay tuned for helmet cam vids.

Today was GORGEOUS. High around 80 degrees, sunny, a bit of a breeze. We took off from the house at 9 and we didni't get home until after 4. Dad brought the GPS to plot the trails, and he wore his helmet cam to get some "action" shots (by action I mean 2nd gear putt-putt). He forgot to clear the GPS from last time so there's some overlap, I can post it if anybody is interested. Stay tuned for a separate thread with helmet cam videos when I'm done editing it all down to the interesting stuff.

Pops doesn't remember how they crossed it last year, except that he went over backwards and got a bloody nose.

Not 100% sure, but I think this is Hurricane Creek. I could be wrong, though.

The best part of the day: The blue diamond trail runs through an old gravel pit, they call it moguls? Anyways, its wicked.

Didn't take many pics, too busy riding and having fun. I now know why you guys want bigger tanks, though. Around 35 miles of trails plus 40 miles of road, and thats all it took to hit reserve on the way back to the house. I mean, that's not bad considering that its hard trail-riding, but if we ever do more than one loop of each trail, I'd have to scoot back out of the woods and tank up.

I've got one video done, I'm working on the others, it'll probably be morning before I post them, though.

cliffsta please your killing me.

80 and a lite breeze i cant take any more.

most of us are still up to the **** in snow .

although most of the snow went a few weeks

ago its been below -12c up here. i must say that

it warmed up thurs&fri went to 15c then rained like

hell,35mm yesterday. sorry just a winter rant.

your riding area, is it sand/soft dirt? . looks a lot

like a place i go to . not far from lake erie, ont.

lots of pine and cedar trees .the sand in the summer

turns to powder, the dust is brutal.

all rants aside great pic's .

just a little green with envy. hahaha

Yeah the vids would be better if I wore the cam, because my dad is 10x the rider I am. I'm having to edit it down to 1. Interesting sections of trail and 2. Sections where I don't look like an idiot

Ah, so he's got you on the helmet cam, too, thats cool. I thought maybe it would be just him zipping along out front. That's fun too, of course, but I kind of feel like I know you, and I think it's more interesting watching footage from someone you know, if that makes sense.

Editing vids is a lot of work isn't? Even the simple cut and chop ones I do take a long time after the fact. It took me several evenings to do the last one I did, but I probably had 4 or 5 hours of footage to go through. And the better the footage, the harder it is to decide what to chop. One small request if you can, if the audio is already pretty decent, please don't cover it up with music, I'd much prefer to hear the bikes. Of course, it's your baby so you can do what you want, I'm just saying my preference. Thanks in advance for whatever you create!
