Default More holes in stock exhaust?

I have done all the free mods and I plan to add a pipe and tank next spring, but in the mean time, would drilling holes through the butt of the exhaust and the first baffle make it less restrictive? If so, are there any drawbacks to adding a few holes.

I had a 750 LTD in highschool that was drilled like that. It was drilled before I got it, so I dont know if it made any difference.( I paid $400.00 for it to a guy that had it chained to a tree behind his trailer. No surprise, I never got a title.Oh tobe young anddumb .)

I just drilled through the first two baffles, I wouldn't recommend drilling holes through the butt plate too (especially if you haven't rejetted).

I have re-jetted. I went with a 40 pilot, 125 main, N1TC needle with the clip on the second notch. I also added the kdx snorkel and drilled out the airbox vent to 3/8.

How deep is the second baffle? Dont know if I have a bit that will reach.

You'll need a 12" long bit, I got one at ACE Hardware for less than $20.
