LOL its all good, but seriously the kids knock down signs and bend them up faster than I can replace them in a timely manner. When did kids get so destructive? Stinking punks!!! And don't get me started on loud music.........oh man does that mean I'm getting old?

What about Bake's new tank he specifically designed for the KLX? Shipping to Aus isn't *that* bad. I ship smaller packages there all the time, rarely is it over $12 or $16. Not sure about a larger sized package like that tank, though. At any rate, I think it would look a lot better than those rear end seat wrapping looking tanks. Frankly, I think those make the KLX look like it has a big butt. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It has 3 bolts as well
7.5l nearly doubles the stock range.

Yeh thought about it.
I think the landed cost here after taking into account the exchange rate plus shipping would make that tank $A350 for around 4.2l compared to max $235 for 5.8l.

Plus I like the look of the over fender tanks.

Huh? Look up a couple of posts, I was actually suggesting your tank as an option. It just didn't suit the customer in this particular case.

POW that quick----the tank isnt on the bill blue website any longer. There has to be more to the story than one negative comment on one post that wasnt really negative, just not suited for that situation. I swear the pics of the tank were on the website yesterday or the day before because I visited the website to start planning my cash flow to fit a 351cc and carb into this winters project list.

The comment was not at all negative, that's what I don't understand why it was quoted as supposedly the impetus for "withdrawing it from production." Bake must have his reasons, though, but I seriously doubt it's because Neil prefers the plastic tanks made locally to him.
