I wish there was a way to know for sure just how lean It really is. I am using Amsoil synthetic and changing it often so that should help. I want to start with the free mods. I also want to make sure it can still handle deep water so I don't want to disconnect anything that'll let water in.
Hey Gerry, I got a kdx snorkle you're welcome to.....its about twice the size of the stock snorkle. For the free mods, just buy a 128 main jet, thats it.....you can use some tinywashers under the stock needle to set the height. Any chance you could find a cheap generic slip on and mod it (gerry rig..lol...pun intended) to fit the stock header???? If you can this would be the cheapest way to do the free mods with good results....I tried the 1/2" hole drill in the stock muff and was not impressed..hint......As long as you don't run the bike lean....it should last a long...long time.

I'm about done with this Phuckin forum anyway.
It's just a phase, we've all gone through it.

Sorry about that. I almost lost it. My dad was just diagnosed with some terminal bull**** called Multiple Symptom Atrophy and I should never have been posting in that frame of mind.
