Configuration:
Bike / Rider - klx 250s
Elevation - 140feet
Date - 11-9-14
Intake:
Airbox - Cover on with 3x3 hole cut out
Filter - stock
Exhaust:
Head Pipe - china clone "bomb"
Muffler - DG O series
Drive Train:
Front - 15
Rear - 39 (sf wheel conversion)
Carb Settings:
Pilot Jet - drilled out to 38 or 40
Main Jet - 134
Needle - dynojet
Needle Setting - 4
Fuel/Air Mixture - 3
Slide Mod - no
Performace:
Lean/Rich - ~ Used air fuel gauge to set 12.3 top speed ratio with air box mod to achieve that
Low End - way better then stock
Mid Range - way better then stock more pulling power
High End - better then stock more pulling power
Starting - always hard to start when cold, even brand new but when warm easier
Idle - level smooth like stock
Acceleration - great
Deceleration - barely any popping (because I enlarged the pilot jet, stock jet was insane popping)
Additional Mods:
Crank Case - air injection removed
Smog - all removed
