Configuration:
Bike / Rider - 2006 KLX250S
Elevation - 100ft
Date - 04/13/07

Intake:
Airbox - stock with smog/vent plugged
Filter - UNI

Exhaust:
Head Pipe - stock
Muffler - Two Brothers

Drive Train:
Front - 14t
Rear - 45t

Carb Settings:
Pilot Jet - #40
Main Jet - #128
Needle - NITC
Needle Setting - 2cnd notch from top
Fuel/Air Mixture - 2.5 turns out
Slide Mod - drilled 7/64ths

Performace:
Lean/Rich - Perfect
Low End - Excellent
Mid Range - Excellent
High End - Excellent
Starting - Starts easy even after sitting 2 weeks
Idle - smooth
Acceleration - smooth
Deceleration - smooth no detonation

Additional Mods:
Crank Case - Vented via nobrakes method with uni #104 filter under seat
Smog - No
Cylinder - stock
Fuel System - stock
Ignition - stock

Other:
Comments - Bike runs great now. It was alot of work and $$ but it was worth it.

SUSPENSION

Configuration:

Bike / Rider - 2006 KLX250S
Weight- 225Lbs
Date - 04/13/07

Front:
Spring - stock
Clicks - 6 clicks
Feel - just right

Back:
Spring - Stock set at 4.75"
Comp - 8 clicks
Rebound - 12 clicks
Sag - dunno
Feel- much firmer, I like it

Additional Mods:
Lowering
- stock height

Other:
Comments - much improved overall

Thank youfor doing this Mike. I used this as a guide for my jets and it worked great for me....took all the guess work out.

Glad it helped out.I'm hoping the "clicks" sheet does the same for people when trying to get their suspension dialed in.

Rear - Stock, waiting for 45t

Carb Settings:
Pilot Jet - Stock
Main Jet - DJ 124
Needle - DJ
Needle Setting - #4 from top
Fuel/Air Mixture - 2.5 turns out w/kouba screw
Slide Mod - Drilled 7/64ths

Performace:
Lean/Rich - Slightly Lean
Low End - Good
Mid Range - Excellent
High End - Excellent
Starting - Easy
Idle - Excellent
Acceleration - Good
Deceleration - Popping lower than 5k rpms

Additional Mods:
Crank Case - Nobrakes breather

Rear - 14/49 Renthal with DID chain and 120/90 Michelin Starcross S12 for the sand and mud (rim lock)

Carb Settings:
Pilot Jet - #40
Main Jet - #125
Needle - N1TC
Needle Setting - Second from top
Fuel/Air Mixture - 2.25 Turns out
Slide Mod -
Performace:
Lean/Rich -
Low End - Good
Mid Range - Excellent
High End - Excellent
Starting - Choke for 30sec then idles fine
Idle -
Acceleration - Good and strong,
Deceleration - no afterfire (fuel screw tightened to 2.25 from 2.5

Additional Mods:
Crank Case - Yes, 3/8. (I think)
Smog -stock
Cylinder - Stock
Fuel System - Stock
Ignition - Stock
SUSPENSION

Feel - soft and needs to be tighter...bottoms out

Feel- as tight as I could make it without it bronking me around in the whoops

Other:
Comments - Bike sounds and runs great, lots of wheelie power in the whoops, quick accelaration in tight trails

Filter - UNI

Exhaust:
Head Pipe - OEM
Muffler - OEM drilled out baffles and apparently spark arrester..ooops to 1 3/8 inches
Drive Train:
Front - 13t (Kimpex see common parts list for p/n)
Rear - 42t (stock)
Carb Settings:
Pilot Jet - Stock
Main Jet - 132 (dynojet kit)
Needle -DJ kit needle
Needle Setting - #4 from top
Fuel/Air Mixture - 2.5 turns out w/kouba screw
Slide Mod - Drilled 7/64ths

Performace:
Lean/Rich - seems okay, maybe even a tad rich
Low End - Excellent
Mid Range - Excellent
High End - Excellent
Starting -cranky after sitting
Idle - Excellent
Acceleration - Good
Deceleration - smooth
Additional Mods:
Crank Case - OEM
Smog -OEM
Cylinder - Stock
Fuel System -removed stock fuel filter and replaced with in-line
Ignition -Iridium plug and replaced start button with push-in type

Other:
Comments - cut carb vent hoses just below carb

Slide Mod -Drilled 7/64 (i think - as per DynoJet instructions)

Performace:
Lean/Rich - (Lean toSlightly Lean)
Low End - (Poor to Fair)
Mid Range - (Excellent)
High End - (Almost Excellent)
Starting - Just like stock - excellent
Idle - Just like stock - excellent
Acceleration - Great
Deceleration - Popping common

Additional Mods:
Crank Case - NO
Smog - (No)
Cylinder - NO
Fuel System - NO
Ignition - NO

Other:
Comments - Bike accelerates fine, but hesitates (stutters)at the bottom - i think its running lean.

SUSPENSION

Feel - (firm)

Spring -150mm tighter than stock
