Default mods and fuel mileage

How much does the great mileage of the 250s suffer from the jetting mods? I realize that it depends on the driving and gearing etc but if you were getting 70mpg stock, and then put in the 125 main and 300 KLX exhaust and the KDX snorkle etc...and drove the same (doubtful I know) how many mpg to expect?
Thanks,
db

132 and 40 jets, 13-45, Full Muzzy, no air box lid, 60 mpg It could get 10 mpg and I would still love it. Oh sure would have to strap a 5 gal can of gas on my back but still.[8D]

Deej, is yours a Dynojet KLX300 Kit? 60 mpg I can live with. We normally ride in the same areas and know we can reach a gas station from reserve etc...I just didn't want to "have to" buy a larger tank for her KLX (wifes bike) because I messed up her fuel mileage. The Clarke tank doesn't seem to be worth the extra $$ for the small gain in capacity IMO.
Thanks,
db

Yes my kit was the DJ for the 300. I carry the 4 MSR bottles with me, and although I have never been on a longer ride than 100 miles, I did take the two 33 oz bottles that I had in the camel back and poured them in as soon as I could, then saved the two 22 oz bottles in the pelican case for that emergency, get your butt to a filling station or home situation.

And if you don't need the extra gas you can always get an 8 piece box of chicken in there.

I've seen the chicken pic and the chain pic before. I thought I had seen the MSR bottles in the Pelican box before too. The chicken pic makes me hungry.
