I'm working on a "restomod" project that should take me at least halfway through the winter.
I call winter my speaker building season. I've been building speakers for almost 30 years. It's a nice combination of creative outlet, fabrication, and personal satisfaction (most of the time).

Yep, 13 degrees outside, about an inch of snow.
Bike is up on blocks in the garage. Not much to talk about, come Feb or Mar I will start getting the itch and start playing with it again.
Would be nice if we got a new 2012 bike that was refreshed. Heck, even if they just changed the colors a bit.

Winter???...Pffft!
Here's a shot of camp the first day out in the Big Bend area of west Texas on November 29th. It was warm enough to take a solar shower and walk around in camp that evening in nothing but my shower shorts and flip-flops.
Just got back into Abilene today and it was about 40 degrees. What a change!

Dan, weather was a little different down there this year. On average it was cooler during the day but warmer overall at night. It was very pleasant. Highs usually ranged from 62-72 and nightly lows were about 32-42. One night it got down to 21 when a cold front blew through, but the next day was up to 58. I have one of those very accurate little outdoor temp tranmitters, so I always know what the temp is in the van and outside during the day or night. Good cold weather gear and sleeping equipment make sleeping in the van very comfortable.
