True, in fact I have two jobs and a couple kids. In my defense, I am in the Air National Guard and have been deployed away from home for three of the months since June 08 when I bought the bike. I will be trying to rack up quite a few miles this summer. I ride to work 6 miles one way when I don't have appointments and the whether cooperates.

My air base is 145 miles from my home on the freeway. I have duty one weekend a month. This summer when the snow melts I am going to take an alternate route through the forest and ride up there on the bike. I anticipate it will be 160 - 180 oneway but around 50 miles will be dirt.

 

Yeah I mean I'm just a 21 year old punk kid, other than work and school I have no responsibility, which means if its moderately warm and dry, I'm on it.

My conflicting hobbies conflict with my hobbies.

Between racing, quads, work travel, I just didnt ride it enough last year.
As long as I double it this year, I am ok with it

I have a smidgeon over 1100km on my '09 delivered in October (I think, I wasn't there) of '08. I have only ridden it for about 12 days. And since we are talking a buttie ton of smack - I work 65 hours in a 5 day work week in the desert about 6000 miles away from my home in Thailand and only get to spend about 30 days (if I'm lucky) a year at home. So ride on brothers! Enjoy what you have because some sorry SOB has it alot worse than any of us!

 

Bought mine in April 09 and i have 1000 on it ... i like to ride a lot . Here in GA most the time weather is good for riding....I do a LOT of forest service roads..
