Default mikuni tm36-68 owners help

I know you are out there.
I have the top 3/4 throttle perfect, but I dislike the sputtering from 0- 1/8 throttle (not too rich type of sputtering from 0-1/8 throttle, but lean type) Ive tried everything.. the only way it goes away is if I make everything too rich by adding a rich needle or rich needle jet. I have it ALMOST perfect now, but there is just one tiny blip about 1/8 throttle.. it drives me nuts.. Ive tried every size pilot jet pilot air jet combo, needle, needle jet, a/p position.. etc.

Your signature doesn't mention if your airbox lid is off, if so try blocking off different percentages of it with duct tape to see if the lean condition off idle to 1/8 throttle can be eliminated.....

I changed to the stock needle, p4 needle jet, 22.5 pilot jet, and it seems better now. Does cold weather make things run leaner?

Have you adjusted the start of the a/p and the duration?

The colder it is it does go leaner but not usually enough to require a jetting change.

i tried that brewster and it fixes it when you are twisting only.. if you keep the throttle 1/8 open and leave it there.. bike jerks and sputters.. too lean or very turbulent something or other ..

does adding race cams cause leaner condition?.. i would think so.. more air flow

I was close to how yours is jetted. I used a P6 needle jet which cured the low speed sputter. Raise your needle one notch may help too.
