Mike Alessi, #800, fuel-injected RM-Z450

RE: Mike Alessi, #800, fuel-injected RM-Z450
that's one dangerous rider for Reed and Stewart this year. He's light as a feather and always has the throttle pinned. I cannot wait for supercross to start. This year will be a great year even if RC isn't there. With the addition of riders from last years 250 Lites class like Villopoto along with Stewart coming back, it's going to be pretty good racing I think. Reed has been dominating other country's supercross while Stewart hasn't even been racing so I think Reed will be more competitive with Stewart, but maybe not. Stewart seems like he's his own worst enemy as he crashes a lot. Less than a month away now. who else can we throw in the mix?

Watch out for Alessi! He put his KTM second in the Nationals this past year. While they say nobody remembers 2nd place, he was darn close and that's pretty good for KTM with all the haters always ragging on them in MX for them to beat all those Kawasaki's, Honda's, and Suzuki's last year.
Stewart is THE MAN when it comes to SX. I think Townley will be racing 450's this year in MX, that should make it interesting too, but is staying in the lites for SX. Villapoto is staying in the lites for another year both MX and SX. A couple of new faces this year, Nico Izzy and Austin Stroupe, both of which did real well in their debut the last few races at the end of the Nationals. Both of them on 250s.

Don't forget local D-5 rider Broc Hepler. Sorry just partial, too bad he's nor happy with his bike ( second hand news). Anyway, as much as I can't stand the Alessi's because of all the hype stuff early on. He sure has shown maturity now and is definatley a contender now with Suzuki. Going to be a great year of racing. Don't forget Langston IG, he's riding really well. Can't wait for Anaheim 1.
