I was up to my house over the holiday weekend.I rode from Oscoda (where I live) to Houghton and back and besides to many idiots the trails were great. If you never been up MOSTLY SAND. I getnew tires because the stockers will wear you out. If you have anymore ?'s just ask.

I was thinking of trying the Denton trail. I havent rode any trails up there ever though. Never rode in deep sand either, hope it isnt unbearable with the stock tires. I was thinking of getting trackmaster II's but i am not sure how good they will be on the street.

the tmII's aren't that bad on the street. they are a dirt tire's though so the grip can't compare to real dual sport tires.

I will be up in Luther/Baldwin (MI) area this weekend. The trails have been fairly good
lately, but as with most of MI, lots of sand! Not a lot of rain this week either, so dusty
as hell too I would imagine!

Im going to air down the stock tires to 16-17 PSi. That helps in the mud. I probably will get new tires in a few weeks. My street riding is all city. I go 6 miles one way to work and have to stop at 6 stoplights so im thinking the Trackmaster II might not be bad. The only turns i make are at intersections.

The Trackmaster II will be fine in the city, especially for only 6 miles. I ride my bike through
town with the trackmasters all the time. Even ocasionally on the Interstate! Just be carful
cornering, these will slip when leaning too far unlike the stock ones, I had a close call
jackassing in the gas station parking lot a few weeks back.
