I had done all the mods in my sig, except the header pipe when I removed the mesh. I had ridden the bike like that for a long time. When I removed it, it made a noticeable, and significant difference in power. Was it because I was jetted too rich in the first place, and with increased flow it worked better now? Was the difference (maybe not an increase, but a difference) in airflow enough to change the signal over the main jet, or make the slide open faster? I don't know what it was, but I do know that it was a very noticeable, and worthwhile mod. If I bought another KLX, it would be in the first set of mods I would do.
