Sorry to have been absent .. I'm back at work, in the oil field, and just now able to log on..
Each was a 3 pull dyno run. Run 002 was the best of the 3 pulls with stock header. Run 005 was the best of the megabomb pulls.
In deference to Richard Avatar, the side plate was left off the bike for all pulls. There is a difference. It did lean out the bike. Run 002 is much leaner than my pulls after installing the #132 jet a number of months ago. I have no way to easily richen the bike except by raising the needle.
Showing the AFR should provide many with the info they need for jetting. See the proof in the chart - near sea level, putting in the biggest DynoJet main is not enough if your bike is modded like mine and you further enhance the airbox . Best power production occurs at 12.8 to 13.0 AFR.

Interesting that the side cover off would change a/f ratio even though there's no holes in your air box. There must be quite a restriction with everything all buttoned up?

With a CV carb dependent on vacuum to bring the slide up, it'd be hard to say where the line is between too little/too much vacuum effect

So unless there are dyno AFR's proving, with spot on (or at least similar) jetting between carbs, showing the aftermarket is better, we truly will never know.
It seems nit picky, but when dealing with usually less than or equal to 1hp increases it seems that even the smallest occurrences changes the outcome drastically To eek out more power it takes a fine tooth comb for sure

I suppose I should raise the needle one slot and modify my slip-on to match up with the I.D. of the megabomb. Perhaps without flow restrictions through the slip-on's nipple and a little richer AFR, the megabomb will make a better showing.
I cannot tell any difference in the sound of the bike. Its' still loud - thank goodness!
