Maxxis M6006..........check
Well I am onspending spree for my bike, figured while I am blowing money it was time to replace my tired Dunlop603's they are now slicks. After a lot of reading and research and inputs from the great forum and broke down and bought aset of Maxxis M6006's
I got the closest thing to stock sizes front is 90/90 21 and 120/80 18. $38 each at bike bandit. I will be curious to see how long they last but at $38 each they are pretty cheap and if I get 2500-3000 miles out of them even better.
Oh, I installed my 45T and 520/108 chain last night and rode around a bit. Much snappier and stays in the good rpm range as you shift. Lost a bit of top end on the highway but I think it was worth it so far. I knew there was talk about not knowing of the 108 link would be the correct size, it is and I have mine set at the 3rd click on the ajusters. So there is plenty of adjustment left for stretch and crap.

Those should be a little wider than stock. I'm curious how they fit and ride. I'd like something a little wider. I ride often with my fiancee on the back and a wider tire would be a little more stable on gravel roads. It should wear a little slower since the wider tire disperses heat better and there's less force per area on the contact patch. Turning should be a little slower, but that's not a problem with the wide bars.
