you try that tire yet, i have herd it wears really fast and is really heavy.

I don't know if the Maxxis's are made by Cheng shing or not, but Cheng shing branded tires are not even close to the same league as Maxxis's.

You're correct. They don't sound American, they don't spend any money on marketing, and they cost 1/3 - 1/2 as much.
