Default Matte black vinyl KLX250 - 2006

Hey all, i just got 2 rolls of matte vinyl from ebay around 12$ made in china but they are not bad this is just a try out. Still having a hard time with the edges as i didn't trim them by the edges. I just folded them to the back of the plastics, which is not a very good plane. Please Note this is not a perfect finish and if your planing on doing this u need minimum of 2 - 3 people.

Actually you want to fold about 1/2" to 1" of material behind the plastics and use 3M edge sealer to glue it down. If you go right to the edge it will be prone to roll up over time.

I'm assuming your using a heat gun. If so, you should be able to heat up those areas and pull them around the edges. Even so, it will be nearly impossible to eliminate all the wrinkles, especially where there is a crease in the plastics. I would just heat up those areas and then push it in with a squeegee. After it cools it should more or less hold it's shape.

Regarding the picture with the flap on the inside, you can cut a small slit and then fold it back. You don't want any exposed pieces, everything should be folded back and sealed. Did you see the thread I did on my install? If not, here it is...
