Yep probably......I spoke with Mike Cory at Dynajet, and he has my current set up at 128 main, 3rd clip and 3 turns on the fuel screw.....however he says when I insert the quiet core he reccomends a 124 main.........all of this is with the stock snorkel out and the lid on.

even adjusting the a/f screw...hmf with quiet core did not work with the bigger jets...another option...although hmf is a pain...you can remove the rivets...add more muffler packing and rivet it back...made the hmf little quieter....and, just putting on miles reduced the noise level even more...

Couldn't tell you...my HMF was purchased used and even after a re-pack a few months ago I didn't really notice a difference. I do still plan to modify the quiet core, unless I stumble on a FMF for a good price. There's some trails we ride that have significant pedestrian and mtn biker traffic and where my bike is definitely the most obnoxious. I don't like being "that effen guy."

Q4 just vibrated my license plate bolts off today... I had the cool reflector like bolts too lol

Q4 is loud enough for me, wouldn't even consider anything louder
