This summer she started leaking oil, underneath where the skid plate is. Obviously I tightened everything down right away. No luck. It starts by the drain plug, and goes forward from there. So there's a 3 inch stretch that leaks. The motors out for the winter. Any ideas on stopping that leak?? I have no experience splitting case halves, not something I want learn either. Wonder if I bring the motor to the Kawi garage, let those guys deal with it. God only knows what the bill is gonna be for replacing that main seal!!!

I'd tighten all the case bolts and not worry about it unless it's pouring out. Almost all modern engines are put together w/o anything except gasket maker (like Right Stuff). I was surprises how loose my case bolts were the first time I checked. (Don't go crazy and break one off though)
