We're trying the $48 DJ kit first, and maybe we'll come crawling back to you Keihin lovers later.

Because I got that kinda cash!

FWIW the $48 I referenced is from RMMC. They list it asK&N but it is a Dynojet kit.

You will be OK with the DJ kit. FYI, the DJ needle is adjustable as well. Just make sure it inserts completely into the slide as there have been a few accounts of having to take emery cloth to the needle in order to accomplish that...very easy fix.

It only happens to a few of them. Maybe a bur or something. It can befixed with the equivalent of a fingernail file in a matter of seconds. It's always nice to have a few more jets to choose from, and sometimes that dual taper needle is just what the doctor ordered for solving the upper-midrange issues that some people experience.

personally i got the dJ kit so i could have the extra jets. I've already tried 2 different mains, and i'm sure i'll have to go back in there to change it to something else if i travel somewhere to ride, like really high.

also for the record, i havent got to try the 128 DJ much in the dirt or anything, just on the pavement. so i dont know how well it does climbing hills, or if i'll run out of air because i'm probably on the richer side now. better than lean imo though. I also go the kouba screw which allows me to quickly adjust the fuel mixture which i find mucho handy.

what i do know is that 124 worked great, but 128 worked better. also got that iridium spark plug
