Default Which Main Jet

I'm about all set to install my Dynojet kit and I'd like some input on which main. I did a lot of poking around in here, but I didn't find my set up.

I'm at about 1000 ft, but do some riding at 3000 ft on occasion.

Mods planned:

KDX200 Snorkel
Uni Filter
1/2" hole drilled in the end of the stock Exhaust
Crankcase breather hole mod

Do I go with the 124, 128 or 132 Main?

Thanks.

I would think 1 or maybe two steps up from whats in there should do it. At a 1000 feet a 124 sounds like a lot.

Saw Deej's bike, yes.

Wasn't going for that much modification, yet.

Oh, and I went back and formally introduced myself. Sorry.[sm=sorry.gif]

Hey Sam.

I would think 128 or at the very least 124 for you since you're without aftermarket exhaust. I've got the 128 at 3500ft, but got the full blow exhaust. You might also want to remove the smog crap that they've got going there, cools things down.

Also I'd suggest getting a UNI or K&N air filter, and ditch the lid all together. Seems to run better that way, for me anyways.

Welcome and enjoy!

Bump-

If time permits this weekend, I'm digging in.

We've got one who thinks 124 may be too rich and one that thinks 124 may be too lean.

Other opinions?

Im shooting in the dark but do have a DJ kit & live at the same elevation.

My bike ran decent with an OEM 125 main. The DJ jet sizes are supposed to be bigger. I would either skip the snorkel & try a 128 or if you keep the snorkel run the 124 as starting points. You should aslo lean the needle from the DJ settings.

I went the 132 main & 4th groove on my DJ kit but I am 300cc with slip on & no lid.

A DJ kit costs all of $48, comes with a slew of jets & more aggresive dual taper needle--which is the reason for the season.
