Ok. Guys, thanks for information on the Pipe and all that jazz. But, I found out that for me to have an after market Pipe (and having my local dealership rejet my carb) I would have to sign a waiver at the dealership saying I would only use the bike on closed courses (voiding my warranty). BUST

All the more reason to do it yourself and if it were to go to court unless you did somthing stupid the warrenty would still be good.

Get a pipe of your flavor...and roll the dice..If it melts buy some new blinkers..It happened to me and I got some aftermarket ones for $12 bucks, and they are bright....Done...your dealer sounds like some Douch bags really

it's illegal in california to sell any aftermarket exhausts on plated bikes...i believe it starts in january 2013, but lot of the dealers and shops have already started complying...i believe it's will also be illegal for anyone to put aftermarket exhausts on 2013 and newer motorcycles...

Sshhhh. Don't say that. They'll figure out how bad all that traffic is and move your way.

Late response....

California is my area of residence.

My dealer said that it was because of emission laws-or something along those lines- that were being enforced on them. lame!

Anyways, thanks to everyone who responded! This forum kicks *** (whether i have my pipe or not!!!).
