low end jetting

ok,i have my new jet and needle,the nt1c,now on this soaking the diaphram in hot water...i'm not to crazy about puttin carb parts in water,will soaking it in gas do the same thing?,,,,also i have the needle,circlip and collar,do i need anything else? thanks......

New main jet? I don't really think you need to soak the diaphragm in water. I've removed mine more than once and returned it without issue, no soak or anything weird. It fitted fine. No leaks either.

You shouldn't go soaking the diaphram in water unless you've got some isssues with the re-install. I took mine apart and re-assembled with no issues or soaking involved............it just dropped in.

I soaked mine and I didn't have any problem putting it back in. Never tried changing without soaking so I can't tell you if it made any difference.

ok,heres what i did...125 main,stock pilot,n1tc needle...2nd notch, 2 turns on the mixture screw,kdx snorkel.......have to get a new plug and check the color,but seems to run great! thanks guys.... oh and btw,i didn't soak the diaphram,it all went back together just fine.
