Ok. Im probably going witht the 2bros since I already bought my header pipe. For the 2bros M7, does it matter if it's for the 250 or the 300? I noticed on 2bros website they are different part #'s. Thanks guys. I havent even gotten the bike put back together and I am loving it. Great help, and awesome replies. I hope to be here a while.

Hey OZ.
Even though I'm putting the FSW head pipe on? Which one do you have on yours? Youtube file sounds great by the way.

The funny thing is when I ordered mine they only had one part number for the 250 and the 300. My bike was new then and being a 250 I assumed it had the 250 header. Wrong. Down here we get a "special blend" of 300 header and 250 silencer. It didn't matter anyway, I ordered the pipe listed for both 250/300 and when it got here it fitted up without too much hassle.(the box was marked KLX 250) No problems a boy scout couldn't sort. High temp silicone is a must. Been on for 12 months now without a leak. Still sounds great.
I've essentially fitted up a pipe for the 250 header to a 300 header. It was a piece of ****, I don't know what all the fuss is about IG. Haha.
Here's the part number. 2006 KLX 250 #005-1710406V. for the ally. #005-1710407V for the Carbon "bling bling" baby.

All of them (except stock) are pretty loud once you crack open the throttle. The problem with getting the 'loudest' is the KLX will never match the noise with it's acceleration You'll be all bark and no bite
All kidding aside, my vote goes with the Two Bros, which is loud, looks good and has a rich tone.
