i just went to ride my bike and when i started riding i noticed my bike sounded much deeper and louder and all i did was remove the snorkle. it sounds good but when my pipe gets here next week itll sound great. but i never knew that removing the snorkle would make that much of a sound differnce!

 

Its louder for 2 reasons. 1 is that you are hearing all the intake noise now, the snorkle muffles that. 2 is that you have more air flowing in and as a result more must go out, hence the louder exhaust note as well. I wouldn't ride too far until its jetted, mine ran pretty poorly with the snorkel out before I upped the jet sizes.
