Default Loose flywheel bolt

I've had my KLX250s on the stand for a while and after getting back to it found the piston was stuck. I tried turning the crankshaft with the flywheel bolt (under the left side cover) but it was stuck enough that I loosened the bolt. I've tried tightening it (88ftlb) by putting it into 5th and having someone sit on the bike/brakes but that's not enough resistance. It looks like I have to drain it, take the starter part way off, replace gaskets, etc etc. And will need some sort of tool to hold the flywheel... Is there any way to tighten that bolt without digging in deeper?
